Creating Suncoast Jobs – As part of this initiative the Suncoast Workforce has contracted with more than 16 businesses to provide employment opportunities for Suncoast residents. Job seekers are encouraged to register at www.employflorida.com in order to search for open Florida Back to Work positions. Through this initiative the Suncoast Workforce has made it a priority to put Suncoast residents back to work.
Eligibility – In order to participate in the Florida Back to Work program, job seekers must first meet certain eligibility requirements. To see if you meet these requirements, please complete the Florida Back to Work Self-Evaluation worksheet.
Instructions on how to view all of the Florida Back to Work positions:- Go to www.employflorida.com
- Under "Job Seeker" select "Find a job"
- At the top of the page select "Advanced Job Search"
- Select the "Keyword" search icon at the top of the page
- The next screen will take you to the section of the page titled "Job Keyword Criteria"
- Under that category "This exact word or phrase" type "Florida Back to Work"
- Then scroll to the top of the page and input 34234 for the zip code and set the radius to 25 miles
